Dear Max,
You're resting right now but I know soon you'll wake up. You have to because you're a fighter. You've been fighting since the day I met you and honestly long before that. You are one of the strongest and most bravest people I know putting your life at risk for the sake of Hawkins even though you hate what it’s done to you and your family. The misfortune it brought you and Billie, but you still fought for us.
Max, I miss you so incredibly much, I miss your smile, I miss your laugh, I miss your sarcasms, I miss you. you are one of the few people that bring me so much joy and love, I have never been able to connect and relate to a person as much as I do to you. Watching your bones bend in ways that are unseeable and blood gush from your eyes as you plead for your life was one of the most horrific sites seen and it'll continue to haunt me for the rest of my days. I will never not cry at the thought of it. I will continue to sit here and watch over you as you rest and recover waiting for the day those eyes open up again, and when they do I'll be here.
